For characters, buffs were given to the original 8 starting characters – Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, Yoshi, Kirby, Fox and Pikachu. As for stages – Final Destination et al [including Battlefield], was buffed to fit in line with other stages’ mechanics.
