What is Trials of Osiris?
Trials of Osiris is a PvP (Player-Versus-Player) challenge in Destiny 2 where you pair with two other participants and go through elimination challenges in 3v3 matches. If you manage to go Flawless and win every match, you’ll gain rewards and reputation. It resets every Friday at 9am PST / 12pm EST / 5pm GMT and lasts until Tuesday. There are new rewards and new maps every week. Here are what’s different in Trials of Osiris:
● Some changes in matchmaking are made
● Loot structure has been reconstructed
● An anti-cheat feature has been added
● Trials Cards has been modified
Trials is regarded to be better in terms of reward incentives connected to players’ skills. Losses are no longer detrimental, and the loots are now worth the effort. Note, however, that Bungie is still updating the game, so you can expect changes in mechanics and matchmaking.
Why Should You Try Trials?
Whether you prefer PvP or PvE (Player-Versus-Environment) gameplay, Trials will surely have something for you. Every game you play during Trials will be tracked via a ticket called “Passage” that you can purchase from Saint-14. Passage only tracks your first loss. Winning matches will give you:
● Exclusive weapons
● Limited armor
● Top-notch gears
● Masterwork materials
● Adept gears

- You Must Have Completed the Trials Access Quest
Veteran players can skip this step. However, for others, this quest requires players to:
● Reach Power 1,260 (via playing and collecting gear)
● Reach Crucible Rank 15 or Mythic III (you can play on double-Valor weekend to reach this level faster)
● Defeat 50 enemies in Elimination (there is no other way to do this but to work with your teammates and defeat the others)
- You Should Get Your Passage from Saint-14 During Trials
Passages are specifically for your account, and you can only use one at a time. It can track up to 20 rounds and gives you additional rewards when you successfully have a Flawless run or win seven games.
