Most of us have been to at least one school dance, and that was probably prom.
(Whether it’s a night you’ll remember forever or a memory you want to forget is another story).
This goosebumps-inducing ensemble is incredibly accurate and perfectly mimics the standard unpronounceable pose that all awkward teenagers adopt in their party photos.
It’s classic to hold someone’s hand, kiss them from behind, and feel a little uncomfortable seeing my partner sitting so elegantly in that chair.

2. Fault404Phillips Target Pair Distributor Kit
To spice up the cute but formal pre-promo photos, I present to you a series of Instagram poses for couples from Error404Phillips.
These poses are cooler, more casual and a little messier than the previous series.
Plenty of SWAT left, don’t worry.
In these positions the contact is just more direct.
And a blatant disregard for personal space.
But, hey, I get it. It’s selfish. You really need to get out of here.
All kidding aside, these poses are pretty good quality.
The concept isn’t very original (there’s literally another pair of selfies on this list), but the execution is super. And quite a complete set.
The .pack file contains three sets: funny, cute and romantic.
There are five paired poses in each set, for a total of 15.
The only thing I would note is that it’s a little difficult to know where and how to place a Sim’s teleportation chamber.
And the fact that you have to change the phone accessories multiple times (left or right).
But if you have the time and patience to install it, it’s a worthwhile investment!
3. Old streets Pozpak Eclipto
This pose is a little more complicated than the first two I mentioned. But it does attract a romantic/dramatic addiction in me, so …… I had to give up.
The title alone (Old Roads) reminds me of a crazy, seductive love story, and I’m always up for that kind of story.
These custom poses from Eclypto are pretty simple, but they tell a whole story – with just four poses!
The hand position is good for facial expressions, the height adjustment is nice (I like poses that don’t require height adjustment modifications to make them work), and I’d say the concept is pretty unique!
There aren’t many Sims that talk while walking (since you can’t even do that in the game).
And he’s one of the best, the most capable.
If it’s something that floats on your boat, this package would be a great addition to your pose gallery.
4. Back to Back Pose Pack Sims.Babe
Aside from the interesting (and understandable) name, this is one of those custom pose sets that you use with a specific concept and/or theme in mind.
I mean, the attitudes are not very common.
You can’t remove them if you want to take random photos of your Sims.
Maybe. It’s all up to you.
But I thought the poses were pretty unique. This is not the usual position two people find themselves in when someone asks them to take a picture.
I think it reflects the creativity of the content.
But I’m distracted. These back to back Sims.Babe poses are really cute with her arms down.
I think they are a good example of the type of relationship where one partner is bubbly, horny and very sensitive and the other is the opposite.
5. Constrictive Dose Selfie Pack – Kit 1 with Veiga simulators
See? Did I tell you I have a few more selfie suits on my list?
This pose is from Veiga Sims, and it’s one of those simple, cute poses that usually goes with everything.
Maxis Match, Alpha CC, a mix of photo-like features and clay hair… Whatever you want, you’ll get it with these poses.
This is one of those custom pose sets that can be used on a whim for multiple stories or concepts.
There are only three poses in the set, which I recommend, but the quality more than makes up for it.
6. Tankwalk 2 on Andromeda
If there’s a post-Sims 4 custom pack that perfectly captures the highs, lows, and all forms of communication in a relationship, it’s this one.
Talk A Walk Pt. 2 by Andromeda sims is just plain fun.
The expressions are cute, the attitude is admirable, but the overall mood?
That’s great.
Perfect for a gentle, relaxing story or a more bitter confrontation.
Again: I’m all for storytelling. If the concept is good and the execution is good, I won’t say no.
In this case, the Andromeda characters got a big yes from me.
Like the Eclipto Old Roads Pose Pack, Talk A Walk Pt. 2 has a built-in height change feature.
No need to buy additional treble controls – just plug in and go for great recordings.
7. RJ pair of brackets 11
Want poses that really heighten the tension and romantic drama?
Sim A asks Sim B to give him a chance. Sim B isn’t really there for that, but for a few well-chosen words and a nudge, and before you know it, Sim B’s paddle is in Sim A’s hands.

And most importantly: You don’t have to have a picnic outside.
I sat in front of the fireplace with my sims for a romantic evening with wine and dinner. And I think it worked just as well.
9. Sad Mandarin Talk
I want to preface this review by saying that I am not the best CAS Sims 4.
I’m not very good at playing the Sims.
Many of my TS4 sims are randomly generated by EA Towni, slightly customized and filled with CC makeup, hair and skin mix.
So maybe the problem with the expressions lies with me. However, I have noticed that the custom facial expressions of my models when applying these poses do not quite match the name of the package.
You’d expect a series of poses titled Sad Conversation to show crying faces, open mouths and desperately sad looks.
But my Sims looked a little worried and a little unhappy.
I think this will work for most players, especially if you prefer custom expressions in The Sims 4 that aren’t too cluttered or cartoonish.
In this case, Sad Talk is a great set.
In most poses, the emotion is subtle but palpable. And the execution is always very cool.
10. Even if the boiler manufacturer
I’ll end this article with my favorite series of poses.
I mean, it was close. Honestly, I’m having a hard time picking a favorite.
But with Pose Dump #14 by Simmerberlin, I felt heavy and depressed – in the best sense of the word.
I’m a big fan of dramatic, depressing stories. And the poses in this series – there are six, I think – correspond to as many possible plots.
Although it shouldn’t really be family entertainment.
But the versatility of the poses – and the excellent execution – makes the set useful for many different scenarios.
It’s a little tricky to adjust the height of the teleportation bars, because if you put them flat on the ground, your sims will end up one or two feet below the ground.
But it can be managed.
I discovered that with four or five clicks up, I could comfortably place the sims on half of the wall.
I’m also glad to see that the cigarette accessory in the simmerberlin description is fully functional.
