10 Best Free OSRS Quests For Non-Members (Ranked) –

If you are not a member of Runescape, you have probably heard of it before, and you may have even played it for a while. It is one of the most popular free-to-play browser-based games in the history of games. However, since it’s massive scale, aggressive monetization system, and high barrier to entry, it’s not as easy to get into as compared to other games. This is where we come in.

In this blog post, we are going to discuss 10 best free OSRS quests for non-members, and go to rank the quests based on their difficulty, time to complete, and how special the reward is.

Welcome to another helpful guide on how to play free-to-play RuneScape! You may be asking yourself, “Why should I play a game on a different platform? If I use RSL(Runescape Membership) I get a lot more features!” Well, if you want to play on a free or cheap OSRS account, then this is the post for you!

Every adventure has to start somewhere, right?

In a great game like old RuneScape, the possibilities can seem endless. And as a new player, it can be very difficult to figure that out.

Don’t worry about it. There are many quests in RuneScape that introduce you to the fascinating world of Gielinor, and the many skills and monsters that inhabit it.

So where to start?

For newcomers, the free quests designed specifically to get you started are the best.

Fortunately, I’ve done all that, and I’m going to tell you about some things you’re better off doing sooner than later. This way you can concentrate on preparing your character for the challenges ahead!

Assistant cook

Ah, the assistant chef.

Who doesn’t dream of… to be the chief’s assistant!

When you finish your training and head to Lumbridge, this quest will be the first one you see on the mini-map.

And this is often the newcomer’s first search.

In this quest, you will learn the basics of cooking by helping the chef of Lambridge Castle. This is a very simple task that takes only five to ten minutes.

Reward: 1 Quest Point and 300 coins.
Where do I start? First floor of Lumbridge Castle.

X marks position

Before you leave Lambridge, you must complete the following task.

It introduces a clue scroll system where you solve puzzles and clues to get rewards.

X Marks the Spot takes you on a treasure hunt around Lumbridge and teaches you all the mechanics and rules of the scroll with tips for beginners.

Rewards: 1 quest point, an experience lamp that gives 300 experience in a skill, 200 coins and a beginner hint roll.

Restlessness

Now it was time for a little walk down the corridor to Lumbridge.

There is a strange ghost in Lumbridge churchyard.

And your job is to get rid of the ghost.

In this quest, you must explore the swamps of Lumbridge to find an amulet that allows you to communicate with the dead.

I won’t give much away, but this quest allows you to quickly gain experience in the Prayer skill, which is extremely important for the rest of the game.

Reward: 1 quest point, plus 1,125 prayer experiences and an amulet of spiritual language.
Where do I start? Lumbridge Church.

Demon Slayer

So let’s be realistic:

The real reason we play this game is to destroy epic monsters and get some awesome loot.

This is an opportunity to do both!

The city of Warrock is under threat from the demon Delrit, and only you can stop him.

In this quest, you must collect the legendary sword Silverlight, which is the only weapon that can destroy Delrit.

Delrit will not be easy to fight for beginners, as he is level 27 and can deliver heavy blows.

I recommend eating foods of high nutritional value, like lobster, to get rid of it once and for all.

Where to begin : A gypsy tent on Varroca square

Knight’s sword

This quest is ideal for beginners looking for a very juicy forging experience, as well as for learning blacksmithing and mining skills.

In Knight’s Sword, you see yourself helping Sir Vyvin replace a lost sword.

But this is no ordinary sword. Because it’s made of bluewater ore!

You must go deep into the icy dungeon of Asgarnia to extract some of this rare ore.

Just be careful, because there are powerful enemies like ice warriors and ice giants that are insurmountable for a beginner.

Reward: 1 quest point, 12,725 forge experience points, and the ability to melt bluerite ingots.
Where do I start? The ground floor of the castle of the white knights.

Runic Secrets

What’s a rune?

Why are they mysterious?

By completing this quest, you will answer all your questions and unlock a brand new skill: Runecrafting.

In OSRS, runecrafting is the ability to create your own runes from runic essence, which is very useful if you want to start learning magic.

I recommend you complete this quest as soon as possible, because crafting runes later in the game is one of the best ways to earn money!

Reward: 1 quest point, the ability to create runes, and an air talisman.
Where you start: 2. The floor of Lumbridge Castle.

Romeo and Juliet

We all know the story of Romeo and Juliet.

RuneScape adds its own dialogue and twists to this legendary love story that will make you laugh (and maybe even burst out laughing).

Ultimately, there are no big rewards here or bosses to kill.

Just a fun story about two people who love each other and your role in it.

But don’t leave empty-handed. As you progress through the game, you will receive a large number of quest points, which are useful for unlocking future quests.

Arrava Shield

It’s time to call a friend if you want to accomplish this task!

While many of the quests in RuneScape are single-player adventures, this adventure requires you to team up with a friend to complete the quest together.

They delve into the dark world of Warrock’s most notorious gangs, the Black Hand Gang and the Phoenix Gang.

To complete this quest, you and your friend must work together and join various gangs, and then you can reunite the two parts of the Arraw Shield.

Reward: 1 quest point, 600 coins, and maybe a friend!

Vampire Slayer

At this point, you should be ready for the real challenge.

If so, go to the village of Draynor.

You’ll see how the villagers live in constant fear of the deadly vampire who lives on the Draynor estate.

This level 34 vampire should not be taken lightly and can defeat even the most experienced adventurers.

An easy way to defeat him is to use fire spells and surprise him behind a field. Don’t forget to bring a coke and maybe even some garlic!

Reward: 3 quest points and 4,825 attack experience points.
Where do I start? Dranor village

Dragon Hunter

We saved the best for last.

This search is by far the most difficult and dangerous for non-members. It requires a total of 32 quest points to complete.

These points are needed to get into the championship guild.

In this adventure, you must defeat many enemies, solve difficult puzzles, find a long-lost island and find a captain crazy enough to take you there… And finally, defeat a dragon at level 83!

The Dragon Slayer is the hardest quest in old RuneScape, but it’s worth it.

You will unlock many rewards, including the right to wear the coveted Runeplate body and the green D’hide body.

Stay alert and keep your wits about you, and you’ll get the job done in no time!

Awards: 2 Quest Points, 18650 Experience in Strength, 18650 Experience in Defense, Ability to carry Rune Tray and
